You are lonely in the darkness without your light,

little forget-me-not. Still, you endure your night.

Patient. In the morning comes his radiance,

you open your petals to his warm affection,

acquiescing to the rays that sustain your every movement.

Follow him as he rises upward, moves across heaven

and sinks back into the earth. Although rooted here, your desire rises,

soaring into source and consummates sacred desire:

coalescing the life of your life,

the soul of your soul.
